This programme proposes 6 to 7 different sites, with numerous possibilities for tours. The visit´s themes can be decided according to the centres of interest.
This "One day" formula is also an opportunity of discovering the whole ancient Regio (The Southern Alsace, the Freiburg and Basel regions).
A. The Wine Route as far as Mont Ste-Odile |
More cheerful flower-bedecked villages are to be seen: Andlau, whose 12th century Romanesque portal is the most richly sculpted one in Alsace, Obernai, formerly the place of residence of the Dukes of Alsace. You will follow the Route as far as Mont Ste-Odile, following the footsteps of the many pilgrims whose faith drove them to climb the mountain in order to offer their prayers to St Odile, protector of Alsace since the 7th century. |

Another way of seeing Alsace… Discover the "Blue line of the Vosges" and its superb panoramic views. You will first take the "Route des Crêtes" (mountain ridge road) with its grandiose sites, then visit a cheese maker and taste a traditional meal of local specialities. |
