Theater : Punk.e.s (ou comment nous ne sommes pas devenues célèbres)  

A musical epic in which four young girls become inspirational figures for younger generations, and invigorating for older ones.
In 1976, four London girls decided to form the first female punk band in London: The Slits. They achieved the feat of being the first band in the world to obtain total control of their image from their record company.

Punk.e.s [...] traces the destiny of these four musicians, who dream of being uncompromising and uncompromising. They don't care about winning. They just want to be themselves and tell the world about it.

In a frenetic rhythm, six artists play the six main roles and the sixteen other characters in the story. They include Mick Jones (The Clash), Sid Vicious (Sex Pistols) and Patti Smith. The music is played live, with a raw, dull sound that alternates between global hits (the Ramones, the Rolling Stones, the Kinks or the Velvet Underground...) and forgotten tracks that are the foundations of today's music. So many opportunities to identify with the vitality of the characters, their nerve and their desire to change mentalities!
