In order to visit Alsace's villages in a completely different way, Félicia F. with the Office du tourisme des pays de Ribeauvillé et Riquewihr are offering a "traveling watercolor" workshop.

Over the course of three days, visitors, hikers, color lovers and artists, beginners or otherwise, will be able to learn or perfect their watercolor technique, in the colorful streets of our charming villages.

Wednesday August 21

Day trip to Riquewihr

  • Morning 9am-12pm in the vineyards and forests of Riquewihr (meet at 8:45am at Place des Charpentiers parking lot, 10-minute walk to viewpoint) wine tasting by Domaine de la Tour Blanche at 11:30am
  • Option: lunch on the terrace at medieval sketch
  • Afternoon 2:30 pm-5:30 pm in the narrow streets of Riquewihr (meet at 2:15 pm in front of the Tourist Office, 5-minute walk to the drawing area)
  • 5:30pm: end of first day of workshop

Thursday August 22

Bergheim-Kaysersberg

  • Morning 9am-12pm in the lanes of Bergheim, rdv place de l'église
  • Option: lunch from the sketch bag
  • Afternoon 3-6pm Kaysersberg, meet at 2:30pm at Parking rue Haute du Rempart, walk to Schlossberg castle
  • 6pm: end of the second day of training

Friday August 23

Hunawihr-Riquewihr

  • Afternoon 4pm-7pm medieval watercolor workshop thank-you aperitif
  • Option: lunch on the terrace at medieval sketch
  • Morning 9am-12pm in the alleys of Hunawihr, rdv place de l'église
  • 2:30pm-3:45pm Wander and sketch the town of Riquewihr independently
  • 7pm: end of last day of workshop and end of workshop
