Concert by Ensemble Confluence(S) and Ensemble Grünewald  

The Ensemble vocal Confluence(S) joins forces with the Ensemble Grünewald, made up of three viols and a theorbist-guitarist, and a percussionist to bring you a new concert. On the program, popular and sacred pieces from the Spanish Renaissance, colorful and rhythmic pieces from the South American Baroque and music from our own time.

Fourteen members make up the Confluence(S) vocal ensemble, directed by Roland Schaffhauser.

Since its creation 7 years ago, the vocal ensemble has been committed to discovering new repertoires, focusing among other things on popular songs that stir the souls of peoples. Scholarly or light music, secular or sacred, ancient or contemporary, the vocal ensemble diversifies the programs offered to its loyal listeners.

The Ensemble Grünewald is a semi-professional, variable-geometry viol consort. Specializing in Renaissance and Baroque repertoires, it gives concerts beyond the Alsace region and is regularly invited to take part in early music festivals.
