Classified as a historical monument, this castle dating from 1436 has been home to the Alsace vineyard and wine museum for several years. The Alsatian Confraternity of Saint-Etienne took over the management of the castle in 1561 until 1848. But this management was put back in place in 1947, its major role being to watch over the quality of the wines.
