Hiking tour around the Linge  

Do you want to learn more about the battle around the Linge? During this summer, Mathieu, our mountain guide, will tell you the history of the soldiers at the battle of the Linge, through a hiking trail starting at the “Col du Wettstein”. Hiking shoes or good sneakers are required. The trail is a easy level (2,5km long). You will discover the site and also understand the issues of this important battle of the Vosges mountain front line during the First World War. You will see the different occupied positions. Well-hidden remains under the vegetation show you the life on the front lines and during trench warfare but also particular facilities during Mountain Warfare. The visit of the museum is not included in the tour.
