4 Lakes Day Hike  

Colourful eyes and a hike with alpine flair in an idyllic setting! Go on a voyage of discovery to the lakes of the High Vosges with their varied charm and their countless legends. Lac Blanc, the deepest lake in the massif, Lac Noir, called nor mâ when Romansh was still spoken in the area, Lac des Truites, the highest lake, and Lac Vert, which is really green in summer because an aquatic plant develops on its surface. In short, you will learn all about the lakes of the valley!


Duration: 5 hours hike.


Distance: 12 km

Elevation gain: 700 m positive elevation gain.

Bring warm, windproof clothing and hiking boots or sneakers. Picnic or optional typical meal at a farm or hostel.


Field trip ages 10 and up.
