This outing departing from Sondernach will be guided by Jean-Baptiste Chapeyron: "Get your hiking boots and backpacks ready!
On Sunday, February 23, we invite you to a breathtaking hike on the trails of the 1st World War, departing from Sondernach!
The walk will be 9.5 km with 360 m of positive elevation gain, at a leisurely pace and with plenty of stops to catch your breath and chat! Indeed, your fantastic guide will punctuate the hike with stories, photos and anecdotes about the life of soldiers in this part of the valley during the war.
The hiking route will take in, among other things, the Soldat Dunz stele in Sondernach and many other places steeped in history.

The hike is accessible to children (good walkers), so don't hesitate to bring the whole family!
Dogs (on a leash) are also welcome!

Practical info:
- Meet at 9:20 am at the Anne-Aymone parking lot or at 9:30 am at the end of the rue du Landersbach, at the bridge (in Sondernach).
- The cost of the outing is 7€ per person.
- Shoes and equipment suited to the weather, plenty of water
- Sack lunch,
- Aperitif is provided by the association to reward your efforts!
