As deforestation rages in Southeast Asia, 19-year-old Robin Comito sets off for Indonesia to build a major project: saving the last elephants of Sumatra. Faced with the loss of their habitat, Indonesian elephants are in serious danger. Conflicts with local communities, exasperated and desperate in the face of the damage caused by these multi-ton animals, threaten the pachyderms' survival in the very short term. Just when all seems lost, Robin Comito and his Harapan di Gajah association rush to the rescue of this emblematic species of the Indonesian jungles. Between hope and emotion, this extraordinary adventure, lived close to the elephants, opens up new avenues towards the active safeguarding of tropical biodiversity. A 1.5-hour feature film not to be missed!
