Dance - Roll on tambou!  

After a great deal of research into the roots of hip-hop culture, French Guiana stands out as an important cradle in this cultural and artistic history.
The many cultural influences of the Amerindians, Afro-Caribbeans, Latinos and Hmongs have nourished hip-hop culture and enriched it artistically. Roulez Tambou! will tell the story of the many links between these ancient rituals and this more recent culture, such as sharing, way of life and thinking, and energy. What emerges from these different links, and which are meeting points, are rhythm, movement and the circle. It will highlight the importance of traditional instruments (drums, flutes, shells, etc.) and their diversity, the sources of rhythms and movements, in order to promote the plurality of hip-hop dances. It's a dialogue of cultures that contributes to the richness of humanity.
