After many years as Les Vieilles Pies, Gabriel Saglio is continuing his journey. Once again, surrounded by his brilliant musicians, he ploughs his own furrow as a curious singer. After exploring his encounter with Mandingo Africa on his previous album, Gabriel Saglio surprises us with a new album, Gabriel Saglio takes us by surprise this time, turning his attention to the music of Portuguese-speaking Africa. The powerful interpretation of this French singer with a distinctive voice meets influences from Cape Verde, Angola and Guinea Bissau, giving his group a unique sound at the crossroads of French chanson and world music.
