Colmar International Festival - Poetic encounter between violin and piano
Violin : Fanny Clamagirand
piano : Roustem Saïtkoulov
A programme as poetic as it is virtuoso, proposed to us by Fanny Clamagirand and Roustem Saïtkoulov.
From Beethoven's great Sonata for Violin and Piano No. 9, which he dedicated to the French violinist Rodolphe Kreutzer - hence the nickname of this work - to Ravel's Tzigane, a dazzling page of brio and technical difficulties not to mention the famous Danse macabre by Saint-Saëns, an extraordinarily colourful world is presented to us here, made up of dreams and dances, striking evocations and tenderness
Program
L.v Beethoven, Sonata N.9 op. 47 ‘Kreutzer’ in A major (45')
C. Saint Saëns, Danse Macabre op. 40 (7')
M. Ravel, Tzigane (9')
* Concert supported by : Banque Populaire Alsace Lorraine Champagne Colmar resafestival@tourisme-colmar.com
