Colmar International Festival - Young Talent Cycle: Ayano Kamei, piano
Piano : Ayano Kamei
For the duration of a recital, Ayano Kamei opens the doors to her childhood imagination, where each note was an invitation to dream. From the delicacy of Bach's Italian Concerto to the bewitching rhythms of Ginastera's Danzas Argentinas, via the poetry of Schumann's Kinderszenen, her programme takes us on an intimate sensory journey. Ravel, with the purity of Trois beaux oiseaux du paradis and the ardour of La Valse, completes this evocation of a world where music was a refuge, a window to the unknown. An experience full of memories and poetry, where the soul of childhood still resonates.
Program
Johann Sebastian Bach, Italian Concerto, BWV 971
Alberto Evaristo Ginastera, Danzas Argentinas
Robert Schumann, Kinderszenen op.15
Maurice Ravel, Trois beaux oiseaux du paradis
Maurice Ravel, La valse
Supported by VIALIS
