Every year, the actors in the ATHAD troupe (Atelier Théâtre pour Acteurs Différents) prepare a show that is presented at the Salle de spectacles Europe. The group started out as a practical workshop for mentally handicapped adults, but over the years has developed into a real troupe.
At the moment, we don't know much about the show to come, but we do know that the team loves the old cinema with its white clowns in sepia tones, and that it's time to put themselves to the test: born in the circus, passed through silent cinema and now welcomed on theatre stages, the clown is the art par excellence of erasure, of the imperfect, of all that is most human. The actors of the ATHAD troupe will remind us of the wonderful absurdity of life with their offbeat, zany outlook.
