Exhibition: in the name of the rose - Eglise des Dominicains
As part of the 27th Chemins d'art sacré in Alsace, Annie Tremsal, a painter and visual artist from Le Thillot in the Vosges, is putting on an exhibition entitled Au nom de la rose (In the name of the rose) at the Eglise des Dominicains in Colmar until 15 October.

When the curator of Chemins d'art sacré asked me to do an exhibition, I thought it would be interesting. I love special places, especially churches. I immediately felt a sense of synchronicity with this place, which is home to one of Schongauer's major works The Virgin and the Rosebush. The rose is a universal symbol that can be found in all cultures and traditions. Colmar stmartin.colmar@gmail.com
