Concert - Ineo Quartet
The AJAM kicks off its chamber music season in Colmar with the string quartet, the undisputed master of the genre. On the bill is a top-flight Viennese ensemble. The programme features Mozart, Ravel and a contemporary work. An event not to be missed!
Although it represents one of the greatest challenges for a chamber musician, the string quartet remains one of the most rewarding and beautiful experiences! This is evidenced by the long and exciting history of the Ineo Quartet, marked by international awards and success around the world.
The Austrian ensemble will first pay tribute to Viennese classicism with one of Mozart's most daring quartets. Next, they will pay tribute to France with Ravel's iconic work. Finally, they will pay tribute to contemporary creation, which, in keeping with a tradition dating back more than two centuries, perpetuates this demanding art form.
These concerts are in partnership with the Quatuor Diotima chamber music season (Académie Diotima, Metz 2024).
