The Creation by FJ. Haydn is an iconic oratorio composed in 1798. It describes with artistry, sensitivity and humour the birth of the world and humanity in a libretto inspired by Genesis.
This production by the UEPAL music department brings together talented performers from both sides of the Rhine, including soloists, choristers and musicians. It contributes to cultural exchange through a high-level project and references the thinking of Albert Schweitzer (1875-1965), in particular his ethics of respect for life.
