Descriptif lieu

Eggs have always symbolised the renewal of life and the return of spring. During the Christian era, it was associated with Easter and rebirth.
The egg is at the centre of an abundance of artistic activity and offers one of the most fertile mediums.
The techniques used to embellish eggs come from the traditions of Eastern Europe, and include painting, calligraphy, scratching, perforation and batik. 20 egg artists will be exhibiting and offering visitors the chance to acquire the fruits of their meticulous labour.
